Me

My name is Cynthia Johnson. I am a wife and a mother to a wonderful son named Caiden, who is three. My husband and I are both currently attending Olympic College. He is in his fourth quarter of school studying computer information technology. I am studying medical billing and coding. This is my second quarter of school. My son attends the daycare at the college also. I love living in Washington, I just wish that there was a little more sun. I also do not like it too hot out either, that is the reason that I love living here.

            We moved to Bremerton about 18 months ago from Seattle. We moved here to start a new life. I am also a recovering addict. I am now trying to better my life so I can provide a better more stable and secure life for my son. I really am missing living in Seattle because all of my family is there and I do not get to spend any time with them anymore since I moved over here. We all have very busy lives and don’t seem to have matching schedules.

I love to read books, when I have the time. My favorite books are the Twilight series and The House of Night series. My favorite Author is J.A. Jance, because she writes books that are based in Seattle and I can relate to the places she talks about. I also like to watch movies and spend time with my son.

            I am a person that likes to have time to myself just for peace and quiet. I don’t get very much of that time because I also have 4 roommates. So my house can be kind of hectic at times. There are a total of three children and four adults. So, quiet time does not come very often in my house.

            I feel I am a decent student. I think that I have a lot of room for improvement. I tend to put things off to the last minute because I feel I work better under pressure than I do when I have a whole bunch of time. However, I also feel that my work does not suffer because of it. I think that I am a strong writer when it comes to something that I want to write about.

            I also do better when I have friends in my classes that can help me with things and also I can help them. Study buddies are very important to me and my learning. I am a person that likes to be able to see things on paper and watch them. I also do not do very well with note taking. That is the big thing that I have to work on when it comes to my classes.

            Over all I am a good student when I apply myself and really try. I feel I am going to do well in this class, because I am going to put a lot of effort into the assignments and the reading. I want to succeed.
