- · Neal Perry is told by his father that he cannot take any more extra activities during that term
- · Neal tries to portray that he does not care that he has to drop the annual but he really does
- · The teachers seem to be stuck up and very strict
- · The work is hard and the students are penalized harshly for late work
- · Robin Williams (Mr. Keating) is the only one that does not seem to be this way
- · He also attended Helton
- · All the students have to wear uniforms and they all board at the school
- · Carpe Diem- Seize the Day
- · All the students are in what seem to be a game room messing around
- · Knox says that he meet the girl of his dreams but she is in love with Chet Danburry
- · Mr. Keating tells his students to tear out the entire introduction of Mr. Pritchert in their books
- · Mr. McAllister came in and thought that the teacher was gone and asked the kids what the hell they were doing
- · Mr. Keating is the poetry teacher he is passionate about what he teaches
- · They all eat and pray before they have their meals and they have different clothes that they have to wear to the meals
- · Neil finds Keating and asks him what the dead poets society
- · He says that women drooled and they swooned them by reading the poetry
- · The students plan on sneaking out to read poetry to be like the dead poets society
- · The teachers smoke pipes in the class rooms
- · They all go out into the woods and light a fire that they can’t seem to get going they smoke cigarettes
- · One kid wrote a poem on the back of a porn pin up
- · Keating is funny with his teaching and uses funny voices to get his point across
- · He is standing on his desk to show the kids they need to look at things in a different way
- · He encourages them to find themselves before it is too late and takes much longer
- · He singles students out
- · Neil wants to audition for a play: A Mid Summer Nights Dream
- · Todd urges him to ask his father but he says that he wants to get the part first before he tells him
- · He have to do something and not just say that you are in

Lots of notes. Great job. I think that this movie is a lot different from Stand and Deliver. The teaching is different. But both are very good movies.
